This ebook focuses on assisting baseball and softball managers and coaches to teach the teamwork aspects of playing baseball and softball to children of all ages. This guide focuses primarily on the team skills development and strategy. It includes sections on team concepts, what every defensive players’ responsibility is in different situations, specific instruction on a few key topics, drills to teach these concepts, situational practice techniques, and some practice templates.
In sixteen seasons of providing baseball instruction and coaching for children from ages four to fourteen, we’ve developed a regime of training and practice that includes individual skill development, team skill development, and team play and strategy.
