Just as the title says, you provide a topic (maybe something your friend is interested in but you find insanely boring) i address the topic to my cat:"hey kitty _____"
and then see her apathetic reaction to your trivial topic. Kitty aint got no time for that. Kitty finds you both unamusing and also insulting to her sensibilities.
